The Reid Gorecki Art Scholarship at PHS was lovingly established by the parents at Pasadena High School to honor the memory and artistic spirit of Reid Gorecki (9/9/04-5/11/23), son of our beloved art teacher Alicia Gorecki.
Reid was passionate about two things, youth mental health and all things art. In his artist statement he said, “If someone is able to connect with something I have made, or if the work speaks to even one person, I am satisfied. I know art helps me to feel connected, not alone, and that is important for everyone.”
One scholarship to an art student at PHS will be given each spring in Reid's memory. Donations to PEF are tax deductible. DONATE HERE
